If you read one thing
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising, tracking or analytics. The chat keeps one random code so it can show you your own conversation. The ATON Desk app uses a cookie to keep your team signed in. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie. None of it follows you to other sites.

Both are needed for signing in, and are used for nothing else.
03In the chat on a business's website
The ATON Desk chat sets no cookies. It runs in its own frame and keeps one random code in its own storage, so it can show the visitor their own conversation when they come back. The code says nothing about the visitor on its own and is used only by that website's chat.
If a chat is very busy, it may ask a newcomer to prove they are a person with a check from Cloudflare, which may store a short-lived item of its own to remember they passed.
Businesses can tell their visitors this in their own notices: the chat needs no consent banner for advertising or tracking, because it does neither.
04Your choices
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser's settings. This website works without them. If you clear the chat's code, the chat starts again as new. The ATON Desk app needs its sign-in cookie to keep you signed in.
